Abstract

건조 두개골 2예와 성인 36명을 대상으로 표준평행촬영에 대한 OP5의 치아 장경의 확대
율을 측정해 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다.
1. 건조 두개골의 경우 실제 치아 길이에 대한 표준필름의 확대율의 평균치는 최소 4.6%
부터 최대 5.9%로 나타났고 실제 길이에 대한 OP5의 확대율은 15.1%~33.1%로 나타났다.
또한 표준필름에 대한 OP5의 확대율은 9.2~26.5%로 분포되었다.
2. 성인의 경우에서는 표준필름에 대한 OP5의 확대율은 최소 9.5%에서 24.6%까지 분포되었다.
3. 좌, 우측 치아들의 수직 확대율의 차이는 거의 없었다.
4. 수직 확대율은 전치부보다 구치부가 컸다.
5. OP5에서 나타난 치아길이는 실제 치아길이보다 15.4%~31.3% 확대가 되었다고 추정된다.

The author studied the magnification ratio of teeth length in orthopantomogram
through intraoral film taken by standardized paralleing technique.
In this study, intraoral radiograph and orthopantomogram were taken in 2 cases of
dry skull and 36 adults (504 teeth).
The obtained results were as follows:
1. In case of dry skull, the magnification ratio of standard films was 4.6% to 5.9%
and that of Orthopantomograph 5 was 15.1% to 33.1%. The magnification ratio of to the
standard film was 9.2% to 26.5%
2. In case of adults, the magnification ratio of Orthopantomograph 5 to the standard
films was 9.5% to 24.6%.
3. There were no significant difference in magnification between left and right.
4. Anterior teeth had lesser magnification than posterior teeth.
5. It was considered that teeth length showed in Orthopontomograph 5 was magnified
15.4% to 31.3% than actual teeth length.
